The study included the collection of a sample 80 patients reviewers for consulting eyes in Numan Teaching Hospital, injured eye infections ages ranged from (70-5) males and females, Results showed first examination that 68 samples by 85 % been positive bacterial growth either 12 was negative accounted 15%. results sovereignty staphylococcus aureus 32.05 %. varied sensitivity assay over isolates under used antibiotics response as resistance to anti Pencillin G, Ampicillin 100% each, while Amoxicillin 72% 60% Erthromycin. While Tetracycline more influence on these percentage their 100%. has investigating viability resistant bacteria produce some virulence factors it found all were than three or above have ability Haemolysin enzyme, Urease Siderophores, Gelatinase Lipase Capsule , β-Lactamase enzyme Production Biofilm. they are not able Protease enzyme.

Nasal carrier rates and antibiogrm pattern of staphylococcus aureus strains isolated from hospital staff in teaching hospitals in Bandar Abbas

Introduction:Staphylococcus aureus is one of the most important pathogens in nosocomial infections. About 30-50% of people harbor this organism in their nose. Since carrier status in hospital staff is a major source of S. aureus infections in hospitalized patients, it is of great importance to detect carriers for preventive strategies. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, nasal carriage of...

Effects of Sub-Minimum Inhibitory Concentrations of Silver Nanoparticles on Some Virulence Factors of Staphylococcus aureus

ABSTRACT          Background and Objectives: Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have physical and surface properties that could threaten human and environmental health. AgNPs are classified as ‘very toxic’ to eukaryotic organisms and are less toxic to bacteria. The aim of the present study was to study the effects of different sub-minimum inhi...

Molecular analysis and frequency of Staphylococcus aureus virulence genes isolated from bloodstream infections in a teaching hospital in Tianjin, China.

Staphylococcus aureus is an important cause of bloodstream infections worldwide. We examined the prevalence of genes that encode erythromycin ribosome methylase and bacterial toxins in S. aureus collected from bloodstream infections. Sixty different S. aureus isolates were obtained from blood cultures of patients who were admitted to a Teaching Hospital in Tianjin from January 2006 to August 20...

Antibiotic Resistance Pattern and Frequency of mecA Gene in Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Shohada Hospital, Tabriz

Introduction: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) can cause serious and life-threatening hospital- and community-acquired infections. Colonized and infected patients represent the most important reservoir of MRSA in health care facilities. Therefore, in this study, MRSA isolates collected from Shohada Hospital in Tabriz were evaluated for the frequency of mecA gene and their anti...
